ETOMAIM RISING
RANIUM E is approximately 25 trillion miles from Andros, Oregon.
An icy planet plagued by turbulent storms, this colony holds the central government and research divisions for an empathetic and technologically advanced civilization called the Ghoulia.
Rasiel al Reehmel is one of the Ghoulias' brightest minds and a member of Ranium E's royal family.
A hotshot pilot, his duties are vast, but none are as vital as his planetary conservation efforts.
With a recent assassination attempt behind him, Rasiel is given rather dire information regarding the restricted and dangerous etomaim-covered planet of Gaia.
Thermal patterns are skewed, radiation spikes are vast, and any time wasted can spell disaster for this undeveloped world.
Little does he know, Gaia is by no means undeveloped.
With chicken thievery, space pirates, and a dismal threat fast approaching, a team of unlikely heroes must defy the odds or pay the ultimate price.

Told from multiple POVs, both on our humble planet and off, Etomaim Rising is an epic YA Sci-Fi Fantasy inspired by the vast unpredictability of the cosmos. Fans of the chaotic and otherworldly settings in Disney's The Guardians of the Galaxy and the heartwarming appeal of The Princess Bride will relish this heartwarming tale about choice, family, and what it truly means to be brave.
A note from the author~
Etomaim Rising was the first book I ever wrote and is a vastly different work than what I’ve come to write on a daily basis. It’s a love letter to a younger, much more troubled teenage me. This book was delayed for one year for a proper edit after it was brought to my attention that an editor had done far more than a few edits and that vast chunks had been thrown through a generic grammar application without checking for context.
I have edited the novel, taking care to preserve a much younger writer’s work while adding chunks of my adult self throughout its pages. This book is a comfort read, and it’s with great delight that I release it into this world.
For my grandfather, who never got to read it. For my grandmother, whose smile could brighten a room from hundreds of miles away, and for my uncle, who left us all too soon. I love you, now and always.
Etomaim Rising's first draft was completed on February 23, 2022, with its copyrights filed five days prior and the artist for the project chosen. On February 24, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, and the illustrator selected for this book and its message was forced to flee her home, leaving behind her livelihood and family.
Since that date, the world has witnessed no shortage of displacement. From Ukraine to Syria, Turkey to Venezuela. Our planet is seeing the largest influx of refugees in human history.
We are pledging a portion of Etomaim Rising’s sales to Save the Children in response to this tragedy.
